Lithuanian painter Ernest Zacharevic likes to work on his craft outdoors whenever he can. Zacharevic’s efforts push the limits of creative expression by using a diverse array of materials, such as installation, sculpture, oil paint, stencils, and spray paint, among other mediums.
The artist, who is based in Penang, Malaysia, rose to prominence in 2012 when he painted a series of murals for the Georgetown Festival. This event garnered international attention and earned him the moniker “Malaysia’s answer to Banksy” from the BBC. In 2012, the artist rose to prominence in Penang, Malaysia.
